@cbea The earliest AEM could JV with NFG is 2025 or 2026. They have some payments to make. NEM getting some cash also. Any JV is going to cost north of 2 billion US in my opinion unless it is for only one project like Keats. 1 24 minutes ago @tasmanis AEM could take out Queensway properties anytime. MC 42 billion ...! They operate Fosterville since two years and know the geology of Ground.

Comment by DanWarrenon Apr 10, 2024 5:25pm 24 Views Post# 35982202 RE:Shorts Create Wonderful Buying Opportunities I assume that figure is the latest from the Venture exchange alone...? If so, there is also around 400,000 shares short on the AMEX, as of March 15. Yes, it is ironic, in that I think the Short position has held the NFG share price down, and in doing so, created much better prices for investors to accumulate much more shares than they probably originally imagined they would ever accumulate. So, thanks to the Shorts are due. Let's give our thanks to: 1)Lil Shorty , the mysterious ( brains? - key short player) behind the short position. 2)Crux Investments, for writing dismissive and somewhat insulting, so called ' analyst reports' stating NFG really isn't that great and is quite over valued. 3) Bucco, and all his legions of IDs on both comment boards. Hopefully he has been being paid by Lil Shorty....if not, he must be a disturbed person. ....If he is being paid, he's willing to be dishonest for pay....not very honorable. Thanks guys !!... Now that the dam has broken on the gold price, and investors are looking for gold stocks to invest in, NFG may be one of the very top gold stock investments. The upside is really astounding...but, it can take time. As many say here, patience is our ally here. Yet, some very solid upside may be around the corner. I want NFG to remain independent, with at most, allow only a small percentage of Queensway to be sold to any Big Gold company. The REAL money will be made by holding NFG for many years as Queensway is developed and explored, all while gold engages in a generational uptrend in being REVALUED as the best form of actual money and the preeminent store of value, unconnected to any massively indebted nation's currencies.

suregold As it stands now, the mine has an expected mine life ending in 2031! So, AEM remains the prime candidate for takeout of NFG! @mike97 If you are correct suregold then it might be AEM funding Mr. Shorty to keep the price down.

I am only saying AEM might be! Could be a couple of others also. But AEM share structure and price seems most advantageous for us in an all share deal! I just cannot see this going much longer without at least an attempt of some major here! They are floating in cash and debt facilities. AEM will need to replace Fosterville at some point in next 10 years and it will probably take another 5 years to permit and build mine at least here in good ole NL! So timing about perfect! BTW, they have about 150 kilometres of tunnels already chasing those narrow veins at Fosterville! Interesting tidbit!

Sticking to one topic Suregold I think it could be just one institution that drank the cool aid and is all in.
Can you imagine if it was the CPP protecting their funding with great success?
For what is now at least 2 weeks there is a definite presence with money out there buying on the cheap.

Likelike, definitely someone is acquiring in a big manner last few weeks because they can buy through ATM without having to impact share price very much. Someday in not to distant future we will see a sudden and sustained spike in share price followed by some kind of major corporate NR! Quite a few interesting scenarios here! QWN is ideal for a take out with spin out of QWS to shareholders. That scenario could probably be repeated a couple of times over next 10 - 15 years giving all the dreamers here the result they so desire and more without any risk and big money already in bank. PL once described this as the ideal scenario for a junior who discovers a district scale project, rather than selling the entire package in a single transaction! I have wondered often why no junior fails to see this alternative just as Pierre said in an interview about 15 years ago! Maybe the boys at NFG will be the first! Cash in bank, then more cash in bank, etc! MY DREAM HERE! course at my age my heirs will be the ones to really profit in that scenario, LOL!
