First significant gold occurrence in volcanic rocks
ST.JOHN'S, NL / ACCESSWIRE / March 28, 2024 / Sokoman Minerals Corp. (TSXV:SIC)(OTCQB:SICNF) ("Sokoman" or the "Company") is pleased to report total pulp metallics assay results from the first three holes completed as part of the current drilling program at the 552 Zone. A total of 1825 m has been completed in the current program to date (12 holes) and visible gold has been intersected in five of the holes. Approximately 300 m of drilling remains in the current program including 150 m proposed in three holes in the upper portion of the Footwall Splay where gaps exist in the current geological model linking the zone to surface. The Footwall Splay has returned some of the highest grades on the Moosehead property including MH-20-115 (4.60 m grading 47.20 g/t Au from 64.0 m downhole), and MH-21-163 (5.10 m grading 30.83 g/t Au from 45.0 m downhole).
The three holes being reported today (MH-24-578 to 580), all drilled on the same section (same setup) encountered the 552 structure with the deepest hole, MH-24-580, cutting a 2.05 m zone at 53.70 m downhole that included two 0.30 to 0.50 m intervals with up to 30 specks of fine (sub-millimetre) visible gold. The intersection is highlighted by a 1.65 m interval averaging 10.21 g/t Au, including a 0.50 m section grading 27.78 g/t Au.
Drilling Highlights from 552 Zone Note: reported thicknesses are believed to be 90% of true thickness
MH-24-578 0.68 g/t Au over 0.85 m from 40.60 m downhole
MH-24-579 3.07 g/t Au over 1.25 m from 40.85 m downhole
MH-24-580 8.31 g/t Au over 2.05 m including; 10.21 g/t Au over 1.65 m, including 27.79 g/t Au over 0.50 m from 53.70 m downhole
The three-hole section lies 30 m west of the previously reported MH-23-574 (see February 14, 2024 news release) that cut 2.10 m of 5.0 g/t Au with 12 specks of sub-millimetre visible gold noted. The current diamond drilling program (minimum 2000 m of HQ-size drill core) will focus on testing at least 150 m of strike and 125 m of depth (vertically) of the 552 Zone. Drilling to date at 552 has defined a continuous, roughly east-west trending, two- to five-metre-wide zone of locally vuggy (epizonal), quartz veining/quartz breccia, locally with 2%-3% disseminated sphalerite, boulangerite and chalcopyrite, in variably sheared to locally undeformed sedimentary units approximately 400 m east of the main Eastern Trend mineralization and 100 m southeast of the 253 Zone.
Timothy Froude, P. Geo., President and CEO states; "This is the first significant occurrence of gold in volcanic rocks we have seen on the property and will be targeted aggressively. We are pleased to see grades continuing to improve within the 552 Zone and that the Zone remains open in all directions. Of note is that at the expected depth of 58.0 m, MH-24-588 intersected a 1.3 m vein with 3 flecks of visible gold. It occurs at the contact between deformed mafic volcanics and sandstone. Previous intersections in the 552 Zone occur proximal to mafic dykes but not at the mafic volcanic contact. Its orientation is similar to that of the other 552 Zone intersections and its mineralogy of darker-brown sphalerite and elevated arsenopyrite also supports this conclusion. Given this development, MH-24-588 was deepened through the deformed mafic volcanics and intersected a 0.90 m vein at 102.20 m with up to 14 flecks of visible gold with sphalerite and arsenopyrite. The initial orientation data and mineralogy support it being related to the 552 Zone."
552 Zone intersection in MH-24-580 featuring brecciated upper contact in the top row (8.16 g/t Au over 0.30 m) and laminated high-grade section (27.78 g/t Au over 0.50 m) in the lower row.

Wed, April 3, 2024 at 3:00 a.m. PDT·3 min read In this article: NFLDF +7.19% Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - April 3, 2024) - Exploits Discovery Corp. (CSE: NFLD) (OTCQB: NFLDF) (FSE: 634) ("Exploits" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it is in receipt of the seismic dataset on its Bullseye gold property completed in late 2023 by New Found Gold Corp. ("NFG"). This was the first survey of its kind to be conducted on the island of Newfoundland and one of the first in North America. NFG's entire seismic program covered 47km2 of their Queensway North project area and was conducted by HiSeis, an industry leader in hard rock seismic surveys. The Company will be engaging a consultant in the near term and expects initial interpretations by this summer. Jeff Swinoga, Chief Executive Officer, stated: "We are very pleased to receive the seismic data that will give us indications of potential deep-seated structures under our Bullseye gold property that may host gold mineralization. We intend to combine this seismic dataset with the 13,000 metres of diamond drilling completed on our property. This is another layer of data that we believe will be valuable in designing drilling programs and increase our chances for exploration success at depth. We plan to continue to drill and explore for significant gold discoveries on Bullseye as well as our much larger Gazeebow South property further north." Endurance 2024 Exploration Plans, Reliance Gold Project Newsfile Corp. Mon, April 8, 2024 at 4:10 a.m. PDT·3 min read In this article:
ENDGF 0.00%
OTCM 0.00%
Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - April 8, 2024) - Endurance Gold Corporation (TSXV: EDG) (OTC Pink: ENDGF) (FSE: 3EG) (the "Company") plans to mobilize crews in early May to initiate its 2024 exploration field program at the Reliance Gold Property (the "Property") in southern British Columbia. The road accessible 5,444 hectare Property is located 4 kilometres ("km") east of the village of Gold Bridge, and 10 km north of the historic Bralorne-Pioneer Gold Mining Camp which has produced over 4 million ounces of gold.
Highlights for 2024 Program plans include:
Up to 10,000 metres ("m") of diamond drilling on the fully-permitted Royal Shear trend.
Geochemical surface sampling and prospecting to expand the Upper Eagle, Enigma, and Olympic soil grids to develop additional drill-ready targets.
Geological, structural, mineralogical and metallurgical studies.
Community consultation ahead of a drill permit application on the Olympic Option.
Continued property-scale environmental baseline studies.
Revise 3D geological model in anticipation of an inaugural mineral resource estimate.
The proposed 2024 program is designed to expand the gold zones discovered within the Royal Shear, at depth and along strike. To date, the Company has completed 82 diamond drill holes for 17,907 m drilled along 1.5 km of the Royal Shear gold-mineralized trend. The drilling has been extremely successful with 53 of the 82 diamond drill holes returning drill intersections in excess of 10 gram*metre gold. Highlight results from 8 of these drill holes include:
15.70 grams per tonne ("gpt") gold over 24.8 m including 26.96 gpt gold over 4.1 m.
8.62 gpt gold over 24.4 m including 17.02 gpt gold over 4.3 m.
8.47 gpt gold over 24.9 m including 16.27 gpt gold over 10.5 m.
5.80 gpt gold over 23.0 m including 8.52 gpt gold over 12.7 m
8.41 gpt gold over 12.0 m including 11.85 gpt gold over 7.7 m.
8.06 gpt gold over 13.5 m including 10.41 gpt gold over 5.5 m.
7.65 gpt gold over 12.7 m including 10.00 gpt gold over 8.7 m.
3.05 gpt gold over 139.9 m including 12.85 gpt gold over 12.9 m.
Crews will mobilize and commence surficial field work and baseline studies in May. First Nation Consultation is in progress for an anticipated new drill permit application for the Olympic and Enigma targets. The Royal Shear drilling will focus on previously untested areas between Imperial and Eagle, along strike to the northwest of Imperial, and at depth at Eagle and Imperial Zones.
The Reliance Gold Project is interpreted to host a shallow-level (Epizonal) Orogenic gold system. Gold mineralization is directly related to varying amounts but low sulphide concentrations of arsenopyrite, stibnite and pyrite as sulphide replacement and multigenerational breccias often with associated pervasive silicification, quartz stockwork and/or quartz breccia infill. Since the 2020 discovery of the Eagle Zone, the Company has completed 84 RC drill holes and 82 diamond drill holes along a 1.5 km strike of the Royal Shear host.
Endurance Gold Corporation is a company focused on the acquisition, exploration and development of highly prospective North American mineral properties with the potential to develop world-class deposits.

Exploits Discovery Corp. has the ground to the immediate north of New Found Gold. They benefit from the big seismic survey that New Found Gold did because they also extended the survey to include Exploits’ ground.
Recently Exploits completed a small drill program on their ground. If you look at the New Found Gold map you will see in the north part of their claims the Everest, Honeypot and Jackpot veins that go right to the claim boundary with Exploits’ claims.
Exploits was drilling on their side of the claims to see if the Honeypot and Jackpot veins extend onto their project. The drilling only got sniffs of gold mineralization that is probably because they only hit veinlets of quartz as can be seen in the image below.
My guess is they likely are above the more quartz dominant portion of the system. I would love to see them get a hole 50 to 150 metres below what is in the images above.
They recently received the seismic data and can now start getting interpretation of the data to generate drill targets. I hope they publish the data, I suspect there are some interesting structures immediately below what is in the core pictures.

Sokoman Minerals is in Newfoundland, west of New Found Gold. They were actually an earlier mover into gold exploration in Newfoundland. They also have an orogenic gold discovery that they have been drilling for several years.
Most of their drilling has been within a couple hundred metres of the surface. They have found a lot of high-grade gold, including plenty of holes with visible gold, but so far haven’t really tapped into the depth potential.
I’ve said in the past that if they figure this system out, they could be sitting on a heck of an orogenic gold discovery. My hope is that they consider doing a seismic survey on their project. I think it would light up a lot of targets deeper into the system. Especially, if they overlaid the extensive drill hole data onto a seismic survey map.
Dynasty Gold has an orogenic gold discovery with very high-grade gold right beside Dryden Gold. They have two key targets on their project, one is a near surface zone and the other is the depth potential.
They sort of vacillate between focusing on the near the surface zone and the depth potential. My hope is that they focus their near term drilling on the depth potential. The grades they have hit without seeing visible gold is very impressive. Which suggests to me that they are still very high in the orogenic gold system.
I’m looking forward to their upcoming drilling program. I will be watching closely for where they plan to drill and how deep they plan to drill.
