"The #DXY Dump Has Begun"
To be published later today. 1 25 Apr 2024, 08:58
@ataloss1 Lab may have took those shares knowing what NFG is about to release. Is lab's deal really so bad if nfg pps doubles after the number of shares has been transferred? 0 25 Apr 2024, 09:40
suregold LAB had no choice. They were out of cash with zero probability of financing to continue a very expensive program. The CEO stated it very clearly. Listen to his interview comments.All other NL players in same boat. 1 25 Apr 2024, 09:55
keatsgold they couldnt get the drills we were getting. now nfg gonna find 1000+ g/t holes there 3 25 Apr 2024, 10:05
@gnutimes 0 25 Apr 2024, 10:12
@gnutimes Nfg.V chsrt shows potential. Should be easy to break out above the moving average from here, and run up steeply on any move in gold or any sniff if an acquisition.
Kingsway was practically a gift.
4 25 Apr 2024, 10:23
@11111 @realmoney So, I have a big 100 lb. bag of gold, but I've only counted the first 20 pounds. My friend says he'll give me the value of twenty pounds for the whole bag. I say "What a great deal", NOT! You baffle me with impatience. 3 25 Apr 2024, 10:35
@benedict ahhh...but he will pay you in magical beans (some things are lost on people - unless you make it really simple) 1 25 Apr 2024, 10:41
@mark0705 @semandon surely nfg want the share price as high as possible when they do the deal. As it will mean lab gets less shares surely? 1 25 Apr 2024, 12:07
suregold @mark0705, maybe but at end of the day it will be $20 million to LAB no matter what. Over the next 2 months NFG will at some point have to release results from at least 1 or 2 deep holes (unless they are all duds) if material, so out of their hands to a large degree plus we have gold continuing to climb which is totally out of NFG control. And we could have a major start to impact share price any day now as they are printing cash at these prices. Again NFG has no control over that! 1 25 Apr 2024, 12:28
@mark0705 I realise this but I was replying to a post that seemed to think that the share price would not go up until the lab deal was done. Obviously that would benefit lab, but I just can't see anyone caring to that extent. 2 25 Apr 2024, 12:32
@factsnotfeelings LAB is meaningless on the grand scale. it will not effect trading in any real way imo. keep moving forward. 0 25 Apr 2024, 12:34
suregold Exactly. 1 25 Apr 2024, 12:34
@marciemarc www.sprottmoney.com/blog/the-DXY-dump-has-begun 2 25 Apr 2024, 12:36
@realmoney @11111 you need mindread the CEO of NEM, the purpose of Newcrest acquisition is ASIC, if NEM grabs NFG, they can remove all obstacle and create synergy as it turned the corner today, you will never hear any word about financing and share dilution 3 25 Apr 2024, 12:45
@brazenfox Kingsway is definitely meaningful on the grand scale. 2 25 Apr 2024, 13:04
@jasperoid There is no upside to $LAB, except hoping that $NFG shares stay around $5 until the sale, because I think NFG could easily double or triple from there. Not even a royalty retained on the property? $LAB takes all the risk that NFG shares could rise before the sale, and end up getting less NFG shares. The $LAB share price is basically cut in half since the announcement, so how can this be a fair deal?? 7 from #lab, 25 Apr 2024, 13:14
@gnutimes I always liked newfound gold, but I’ve been out of the stock for a while, meandering around with others in the same field of dreams. But this week’s announcement that newfound is almost being given Kingsway for free, considering all the drilling that’s been done, made me sit up and take notice. by consolidating so much of the strike zone in Newfoundland, NFG makes itself more attractive than ever as a takeover target.
In addition, according to Quenton Hennigh, NFG already has the potential in the West Keats area for a profitable surface mine.
I was also spurred on by the fact that NFG stock barely budged given the highly bullish nature of this acquisition. In short NFG is now a takeover + 24 more words. Click to expand 5 25 Apr 2024, 13:43
@gnutimes
Junior market snores while NFG add significantly to its already dominant position covering an extensive gold bearing zone in Newfoundland
VERY impressive consolidation in a safe district that is generally pro-mining.
0 25 Apr 2024, 13:56
@factsnotfeelings Meaningless add but great news!!! 0 25 Apr 2024, 13:58
@gnutimes
As I recall, there’s an arra north-east of what is marked Lotto, where NFG already hit some high-grade and was expressing interest in the adjacent property thst is/was part of Kingsway.
So that’s gonna be a very high proptity drill target. Anybody here remember this scenario?
1 25 Apr 2024, 14:05
keatsgold kingsway deal only works if meaningful gold. could be a flop and just lost 20m. however nfg has the data to know where to drill along apz fault in the property and hopeful they will find something deep down. i am sure they did their homework and also took advantage of a pratically going bankrupt company. soon all their neighbors after june 25th will be too. 2 25 Apr 2024, 14:39
@red911 keatsgold Agree - NFG knows what they are doing and seismic likely tells them to head north. What LAB is doing I have no idea. And they are not practically going bankrupt - LAB has $6.5M cash in the bank - they should have just parked Kingsway exploration and let NFG story unfold. There was no reason to desperately unload Kingsway now. Too many large conflicted shareholders with influence likely designed this. 4 25 Apr 2024, 14:55
@gollygee Anyone notice the pre close dump on the bell 3 25 Apr 2024, 15:31
keatsgold 6.5m left and they wont find nothing meaningful at their next target. they will be done soon. 1 25 Apr 2024, 15:32
@gollygee Based on the NEM quarterly, the other majors should roar upwards. Average gold sale price $2009 an ounce. The June numbers should be better. 1 25 Apr 2024, 16:20
keatsgold barrick said lower production estimates for earnings. imo they will be the desperate major. due or die coming for them. they have no growth. 2 25 Apr 2024, 16:32
@yukoncornealious Wonder what AEM is going to do with their growing cash horde 🤔
1 25 Apr 2024, 16:48
suregold Swan is nearing end of life barring a further large drill success on their property. Just 6 years from now. It will take about that time to get Queensway developed and through all the govt hurdles! 1 25 Apr 2024, 16:52
keatsgold also great relationship with es. 0 25 Apr 2024, 16:54
suregold So what do you all think AEM is pondering about now? They do not need a 43-101 on NFG! They have an attractive share price and structure as well as huge cash reserves and credit facilities. 1 25 Apr 2024, 16:55
@freemax2 I am IN because the end scenario will be =NFG will be the next AEM prey for $$$ and more if Barrick come here to fight for us. and the AEM door opener is ES. I was following ES in is KL play !! same as NFG $$$ best luck to all 3 25 Apr 2024, 17:17
@freemax2 the next to load is AMQ for an other play for $$$ 1 25 Apr 2024, 17:19
@ataloss1 So we know the recovery rate using cheap methods. We know there is a profitable deposit near surface. We know the cost of infrastructure will be very low. We know it came from deeper down, below this property. We know there is a mill agreement. We know they are drilling targets produced by siesmic. We know they are investing in more land. We know the palli pps is also rising. We know they removed overburden from that trench to show people and brag. Is it safe to assume that there are now major players looking at deep drill core and writing numbers on napkins?? 5 25 Apr 2024, 17:50
suregold Every single major needs new sources of supply to keep their mills running and survive. It is a never ending battle for them. And we have a generational discovery which will be extremely profitable to produce! Majors have massive cash flows at current price of gold! It is located in a safe and mining friendly environment! Does that answer the question? 4 25 Apr 2024, 18:22
@yukoncornealious Hmmm, I wonder 🧐 0 about 12 hours ago
@gollygee And we haven't had any news on Southern prospects. There mustn't be any gold down there 0 about 12 hours ago
eldreco GollyGee - I don't think that they have to right now...there is simply too much going on in the north. I figure that there might be a play in motion - and we should just sit back and watch it unfold.3

@jimbowie $20 a share to Barrick for Queensway North and Kingsway unless massive gold hit deep then no sale until that is explored. 0 about 11 hours ago
@jimbowie No reason Queensway South can't have a few Keats/lotto. 0 about 11 hours ago
@whiskeyjack This will end in Bre-x numbers and hype but actually with the gold... 5 about 10 hours ago
@novo2018 keatsgold This is from a map that NFG put out in the last NR. Note that in the LAB property (blue) the occurrences of gold (black dots) are all west of the AFZ, except for Golden Glove. It could be that this segment of the AFZ simply does not have a large endowment of gold west of the AFZ, but perhaps does east of the AFZ. If you recall when NFG was early in their drill program at Queensway North all their drilling was on the east side of the AFZ and they were surprised later to find a lot of gold west of the AFZ. 1 about 10 hours ago
@novo2018 Golden Glove had two intercepts of high-grade gold. Drill holes K-22-150 2m at 10.31 g/t, and K-22-154 1m at 20.07 g/t. A good place to start. 2 about 9 hours ago
@mark0705 Suregold. I think some of those things are getting done. It could be that it doesn't take quite as long as usual to ramp up this mine. Just the fact it's more or less in civilization will shave a few years off. 2 about 7 hours ago
@alwil106 The main catalyst regarding production now is to buy a mill ready permitted, you don't need a lot of production to have many ounces from the high grade material, there's two mills with Maritime and one at Beaver Brook readily available and ready to go now with high grade paying for the development of a new mill on site which will service the open pit mine development, high grade underground and exploration throughout NFG property including the recent LAB acquisition, all paid for by a starter mill, can you imagine what the appreciation would be without the likes of Newmont or Barrick buying NFG for peanut compared to their true value.
